What do you want?

What brought you here to my blog? Maybe you clicked through from a social site, or maybe you arrived directly by searching or using the URL. But—why did you visit? Are you thinking about making a change in your life, something related to time management, organization, or writing? Maybe you've already begun the journey and like keeping up with the blog as a part of your network of support (we all need one!).

I raise this because I want to propose that you spend some time, regularly, thinking about what's motivating you to make changes in your life. So often if we can identify why we're after specific goals, that will give us the energy and drive to break through barriers that stand in our way to achieving that goal. So what do you want? Less stress? More money? More connection? Tenure? Publication? Prestige? More time to relax? The more specific you can be about what you want, the more you can use that to fuel changes you want to see in your life.

I'd love to hear from you in the comments below about what you want, and as always, reach out here if you need support!
