Routines are about ... gentleness

Well, I've heard a lot from you all about the strong feelings that come up when you hear the word "routine." Some of you flee from the room in horror; some of you lean in and murmur in a sultry voice, "tell me more."


Wherever your reaction falls, I want to show you some (possibly new) ways to think about routines. They're not about following a set of rigid rules. And no rulers-slapping-knuckles here either. Just keep an open mind. Today's suggestion, from Lisa Edelstein, American actress: routines are about gentleness.
